Battalions In Crisis! ModuleII: 1944-45 (1994)

User Summary.

This module rounds out the game to become a complete package for WW2 small unit simulation.

Adds on the last of the armour from 1944-45 including the IS2, M24 Chaffee, M26 Pershing, PzIVJ, Koenigstiger and Crab.

Addition to the basic rules include;
Spaced Armour immunity to HEAT based weapons,
High velocity guns no longer benefiting from falling shots at extreme ranges,
The additional carnage of multiple barrelled weapons and
The devestating power of rocket artillery.

The platoon roster have now been replaced with nation specific versions including early (rifles) and late (assault rifles and LMGS) versions for Germany.

The major update to the system is the inclusion of what the designers call a 'Box Wars' points sysem for competitive play. This adds a meticulous costing system to every item already included in the game. This is particularly useful for the more casual gamer who is not looking to recreate a specific action.

The five new scenarios are very well presented and now include a useful General Situation, Commanders' briefings and Umpire notes.
