Tolerance (2022)

Tolerance is a 3-6 players asymmetric trick-taking game telling a story of three regencies during the turbulent time of 16th century England, when Christianity lived in division and strife. Every player assumes a unique character, with their own motivations and scoring goals. Tolerance is played over three hands of sixteen cards per player, one card per player on every trick. After each hand, there is a scoring phase and then the next regency begins with evolving rules. Players familiar with the game can play with hidden identities to incorporate deduction, adding anxiety in the darkly thematic mood.
